Your Way is The Hard Way

It is tough for us to realize that we are not fully in control of what happens in our life. But when we do understand that then we can begin to live a better life. In the bible Peter went fishing one night and did not catch anything for many hours. Peter then let Jesus on his boat and was told to cast out all his nets one more time. Peter reluctantly only casted out one net and caught so many fish that the net broke. The fact is that Peter did what Jesus told him to do and was blessed by doing so but couldn't receive the entire blessing because he didn't fully commit. What is God asking you to do? God wants to bless us the way he blessed Peter but we must not cast only one net. We have to let go our pride, stubbornness, and fear and we have to admit our way isn't working and fully buy in to what God is trying to do in our lives. We may be dealing with things that aren't getting better no matter how hard your work, such as, that boss at your job, that professor who seems to dislike you, having problems at home with your spouse or with your finances. We have to fully buy in and live the way God wants us to live and watch how he completely turns everything around in our favor. God's way is so much better than our way. We can't even imagine all he wants to do for us. We must buy in!
