Stop Wishing, Start Hoping!

Hoping and wishing may seem like they have the same meaning but there is a important difference between the two words. The definition of a wish is to feel or express a strong desire for something not easily attainable, to want something that cannot or probably will not happen. I do not like the word wish because of the definiation. It says something the cannot or probably will not happen. We have to have faith that any and everything is possible to those who believe. The definition of hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. The key word is expectation. When you hope you are expecting for something to happen. When you hope for a job, you are expecting to get it and are just waiting for the result. Hope requires faith. Hope builds your faith. People with little faith wish, people with strong faith hope. Hope is powerful. You can hope your way into the life you want to life. You want that job? Hope for it. You want to get into that university? Hope for it. You or a love one is sick? Hope to be healthy. When you hope you are putting your faith to the test and you are believing that the result that you want will come to past.
