Quitting is Easy

Earlier today, during my workout, I was doing a pretty tough exercise and I began thinking about how easy it is to just quit. I was hurting, I was sweating, tired and personally I just wanted to stop. If I would have quit, the pain would have ended, but I knew I had to keep going. I endured the pain and continued my workout because I knew that the pain doesn't last and in the end it will make me stronger. We must do the same in life. Things may be hard, things may not be going the way you want them to go, but you cannot quit. You have to continue and fight through the adversity. The adversity you are facing is here to make you stronger. Nothing in life, worth having, is easy. That is why quitting is not difficult to do. Any and everyone can quit, it takes a strong and focused person to keep going. You can't achieve anything, worth achieving, if you quit. School is hard, you can't quit. Your job may be uninteresting or unfulfilling, you can't quit. Your relationship or marriage may be on the rocks, you should not quit. We have to endure and push through the adversity to get to the other side. Trouble doesn't last always, do not take the easy way out. Don't quit!

Very well said! I follow you because your messages are Delivered very well! You talked about the pain while completing your workout. How would you get through the everyday pain to start working out? I have had 14 spine fusions, a left si joint fusion, bolts in my right si that need to come out and have fusion done, and a two level cervical fusion. All do to an injury from my dream job.
I look normal and try very hard to hide the pain but at times I can’t. I want to beat the pain and workout not let my life slip through the cracks of being at home all the time. How do I start, where do I start. Doctors or PT won’t tell me what to do because they say to listen to my body. Prior to my injury I worked out everyday and modeled now I don’t have anyone to help me find a starting point
I didn’t know if I should comment or not but what do I have to loose?
Thank you for your inspiration!
Erin
